Marvel Hill are quite a talented group of musicians and "Machinelike Freaks" is a prime example of their talent. Since it's US release in 2008 "Machinelike Freaks" was quick to be picked up by radio stations nationwide. Their hit single "High and Bright" is still in regular rotation on many stations today.

Marvel Hill is an Alternative/Rock band from Tenerife, Spain.
In 2008 Marvel Hill signed an international, one year "album takeover" deal with Poverty
Records. The album "Machinelike Freaks" was previously released in Spain by the record
company Mackenzie Music.
Marvel Hill's debut (American version) of "Machinelike Freaks" received a
lot of positive feedback from music critics and radio station directors,
though the positive feedback didn't help the album's sales much.
"We were given a gift; a masterpiece. Marvel Hill gave Poverty Records
an album that could shape the face of music as we knew it. It was simply
our job to sale it... And we failed." - Billy James King
Even though the album didn't do so well financially, to this day, Poverty
Records still calls Marvel Hill's "Machinelike Freaks" one of the best
albums they ever released.
